How we can help

Education Business Management provide strong MAT Resilience services and can support Trusts in assessing their resilience and equipping them for the challenges ahead. We offer a wide range of consultancy services to MATs including strategic reviews, financial management and conversion project management and comprehensive HR support. Our educational professionals have worked extensively with MATs and are also Trustees of MATs and combine professional expertise and first-hand experience.

Who we are

Education Business Management (EBM) was founded by experienced professionals from PKF and BDO, bringing together deep expertise in business and project management with a passion for supporting schools and academies.

Our team are highly qualified, hands-on practitioners with a clear understanding of the day-to-day challenges faced by primary and secondary schools, academies, and, increasingly, multi-academy trusts (MATs). We have supported hundreds of organisations nationwide through academy conversion, growth, and ongoing improvement.

Over the past decade, we have worked with more than 200 schools and trusts as part of the Department for Education’s academies programme and beyond, providing strategic advice, guidance, and practical support. Our work with MATs now forms a core part of what we do, helping boards and executive teams strengthen governance, achieve financial sustainability, and deliver better outcomes for pupils.
