With over 40 years in education, Justin is an experienced school leader, local authority adviser and consultant.  He has worked in the public and private sector, in the past, as a unit director of new school development for two of the DfE project management framework companies.  He has significant experience in the development and delivery of Academies and Multi-Academy Trusts, Free Schools and UTC projects across all ages; primary and secondary schools.

Working latterly with an HR company he also has direct experience of supporting all aspects of HR in academy and Free School contexts, including: Headteacher recruitment, TUPE, Policy Development, negotiation of complex relationships, community and Trade Union engagement and consultations. He also provided support to the New Schools Network as a specialist adviser on governance and operations and has project managed over 100 academy and free school projects.

He has experience as a Trustee of Multi Academy Trusts having been appointed by Regional Officers to support small Trusts in challenging circumstances and is presently a governor of two academies and Trustee of a large Multi Academy Trust.
